Acid washed RNase/DNase-free molecular biology grade silica grinding beads. Bead size ranges from 400-600 μm. 200 gram bottle. Suitable for basic cell lysis applications using the Geno/Grinder®.

Using untreated beads which contain impurities can affect homogenization and biological processes. Acid washing silica and zirconia grinding beads help remove fine particles and contaminant for cleaner samples. Molecular biology-grade grinding beads used to inactivate contaminating enzymes.
