The Cole-Parmer SamplePrep HG-400 MiniG® is designed for fast, reliable and efficient sample processing. The unit homogenizes cells and tissues in less than two minutes with powerful bead beating technology. The HG-400 works with a variety of sample types including seeds, stems, roots, leaves, and animal tissue.
The MiniG accommodates 2 mL to 50 mL centrifuge tubes or up to two deep-well titer plates. The adjustable clamp secures different vial sizes, ensuring flexibility for various applications. The easy to operate unit lets you load samples, set time and speed, and press start, and let the MiniG do the work.
Reliable and consistent results through the mechanical grinding process that eliminates the variability of manual grinding, making it ideal for high-throughput labs. The HG-400 MiniG works with or without buffer allowing for dry pulverization of plant tissue using grinding balls.
The vertical shaking motion delivers strong and uniform disruption. Its small footprint makes is easy to optimize lab space without sacrificing performance.
